Meet Mario, our Montreal Cityscapes Photographer

We think Mario’s shot of Montreal by night is simply breathtaking and we were thrilled to feature it as our Montreal Cityscapes night photo.

Here’s a bit more about Mario and his picture in his own words:

Name: Mario Pierre – A.K.A. Warioda

Bio: When I’m not working for the Man or planning the end of the world… I enjoy “making pictures” the best way I can.

Favorite thing about HopStop: It’s a lot of apps packed in one major place! Me like! No need to go on STM then google map yaddy yaddy ya…

Favorite city destinations: Bars I love are Dominion Square Tavern + Baldwin Barmacie – owned by the same guy, BTW. A restaurant I actually hate myself for not going to more often is Imadake… a friend showed me the place and never went back, but it’s AWESOME! For down to earth food I cannot NOT mention Romados… Portuguese chicken at its best! Also same category Spanish social club on St-Laurent. Not totally authentic but awfully cheap! I’m a pizza guy and close to my flat I have Alto Restaurant. Simple, tasty and North American version of Italian food… It’s sooooooo good specially pizzas. Well I could go forever here so I shall stop now.

Describe your photo: I took that pic on my building rooftop. The Jazz Fest lights were rocking, the wind was blowing cuz I was about 150meters closer to God. The lights were amazing so I fired up the cam on top of my tripod and voilà…
